COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT PROJECT

At KICVOP we recognize the importance of the role of youth in the community. The youth are the building blocks of Kazo’s future and are fundamental in Kazo’s development. So KICVOP has devised a youth and peer involvement project in which aims to bring education and life skills to children.  We send a team of our volunteers with qualified youth workers  into local schools to educate children about issues such as HIV/AIDS, oral care and basic human rights, placing a special focus on women’s and children’s rights.

We have also started a peer support program for the community children. Local volunteers to provide a support network for troubled children giving them an opportunity to discuss their problems and help to find manageable solutions.
